TV Prima will air the series starting on 17 January, every Monday and Thursday at 9:55 pm. The documentaries were produced by the mobile operator Oskar in cooperation with Febio.
This is the second year that the series will air on TV Prima in this timeslot. "In my opinion, this year's twelve documentaries are better than last year's. The directors have become familiar with the subject, and the documentaries often have deeper content," says Fero Fenič, the head of Febio who chose the directors for the project. Works by Olga Sommerová, Věra Chytillová, and Ján Sebechlebský will appear in this series.
"We're glad that the Daring Dozen will appear in our spring line-up again this year. Not only were the documentaries watched by a lot of people last year,* it's also a high-quality program on a high-professional level," says Miloš Zahradník, TV Prima's program director.
"We know something about this segment from our position as the fastest-growing mobile operator on the small- and medium-sized entrepreneur market.** We wanted to inspire others to go into business. The documentaries demonstrate that it's worth following your vision," says Igor Přerovský, Oskar's vice president for brand and communications; adding, "The strongly favorable response we got from the series‘ first year proved that we chose the right approach."
Jan Petrák, the subject of one of last year's documentaries, confirms this. "Interest in our sparkling wines not only grew, but a larger winemaker even asked me to share my experience, after the documentary was aired," says this Moravian producer of sparkling wines, who has been included in the Thousand Wines of the World encyclopedia.
