OSKARZONE OFFERS THE FIRST SPORT BETTING SERVICE TO MOBILE CUSTOMERS

The Sport Betting service gives you access to a sport betting game – for the first time on the Czech mobile market Club & Discos service, another addition to OskarZone, gives a perfect overview of Prague’s best clubs and discotheques OskaZone features also new Java games including the legendary Manic Miner game. In order to participate, customers need to register at www.eurotip.cz, the web site of the company that is – as partner of the OskarZone project – fully responsible for operating the service.

The Clubs & Discos service owns up to its name, providing timely and detailed informaiton on Prague’s entertainment establishments. The service will be expanded with information from other Czech cities in the near future.

Beginning on November 11, the Mojelogo.cz service introduced by OskarZone already last August will also feature downloadable Java games. The new additions include a modern remake of Manic Miner, a legendary game enjoyed already by owners of 8-bit computers. Sport Betting and Clubs & Discos services can be tried out in the OskarZone section of Oskar’s WAP.

All of the new services launched to the market are the fruit of OskarZone, Oskar’s partnership program for developers and content providers initiated in early July. OskarZone allows companies and individuals to submit their original applications directly to Oskar. Selected high-quality applications are then offered to over a million Oskar customers. Authors of applications receive an attractive share of the revenues generated by their applications. Oskar was the first Czech and Central European operator to launch a program of this kind.

OskarZone enjoys immense interest of Czech developers. Over 300 partners are now involved in OskarZone. Following the success of the first WAP applications, Oskar extended the program also to developers of SMS based games and services. The SMS program has already produced its first results. On November 4, Oskar launched the LoveHunt game, which immediately developed an enthusiastic player community.
