OSKAR’S WAP FOR FINANCE AND BUSINESS

Oskar expands its WAP services with new applications designed primarily for business clients. Oskar is the only mobile operator in the Czech Republic offering full WAP personalisation – the setting up of a customized menu by selecting from all WAP available sites.

The newest Oskar‘s WAP section - Finance and Business - includes the following:

Online investor
information on the US market, including basic data on thousands of leading shares, quotations and comments on the development in the „rest of the world“ The Online Investor allows clients to trade at the Nasdaq stock exchange, New York Stock Exchange and AmericanStock Exchange and now also the RM-System (Stock Exchange).

Commercial Register
Entries can be searched by company or by person. The register includes an abbreviated extract from the register of applicable commercial court, file codes, company address, Identification Number of Company (ICO) and entry date. By clicking on the extract, additional data such company’s legal form, branch of activity, statutory bodies, owners and their respective shares, composition of the Board of Directors and Supervisory Board (for joint-stock companies), summary of changes and validity of entry will be displayed.

Facts of companies
Brief economic information from daily press. Includes a news summary and offers the possibility to search by company or ICO.

Register of organizations
A database of all companies registered in the Czech Republic. Includes basic information about 2.000.000 businesses and non-profit organizations. In addition to basic data on the name, seat and identification of organization it also includes classification, number of employees, specification of legal form, form of proprietorship etc. Entries can be searched by ICO or by text.

VAT payers
A database of VAT payers. Entries can be searched by a company’s Tax Identification Number (DIC). The search result indicates the company’s ICO, DIC, validity of entry, company address and applicable Tax Authority.

Payers of excise tax
A database of payers of excise tax. Entries can be searched by a company’s DIC. The search result indicates the company’s ICO, DIC, validity of entry, company address and applicable Tax Authority.

Bakrupt companies
A database of companies at different stages of bankruptcy proceedings. Entries can be searched by company name or ICO. The search result indicates the file code of applicable commercial court, business name, company address, ICO, bankruptcy trustee, stage of bankruptcy proceedings and date of entry.

The EDB catalogue of companies
Entries can be searched by company, text or ICO. The search result indicates company name, ICO, address, phone number and activity description.

Exchange rate list
Indicates the exchange rate between CZK and a selected currency. Rates for currency purchase, sale, and mean rates as quoted by the Czech National Bank, Czech Savings Bank, CSOB, IPB and KB.

Currency converter
Converts any selected pair of currencies. Calculations are made based on current exchange rates quoted by the Czech National Bank.

This tool allows users to search the contact details of any state institution by city or type of institution.

Package tracking
This tool allows users to track packages shipped through major courier companies: DHL, FedEx, PPL, DPD, TNT, UPS. A package can be tracked from the moment it is accepted for shipment – acceptance, dispatch to the airport, transport to another airport, transfer, additional transport, delivery to the place of destination etc. Packages can be searched by package number assigned.

Locations of pharmacies
Locations of pharmacies can be searched by city or city district.

In order to activate Oskar’s WAP, users of handsets supporting WAP technology, must simply dial toll-free *607 and request activation of the Mobile Office service. Oskar’s WAP can be fully personalised using www.oskarmobil.cz. thus allowing users to get to the info they want faster and with less cost.
