OSKAR REACHED 165.000 SUBSCRIBERS IN THE 3RD QUARTER

12. October 2000

Only seven months after commercial introduction and one of the fastest GSM launches in history, Oskar has exceeded the 165.000 subscriber level. “For the third operator to have achieved almost five per cent market share in such a short period of time, not only greatly exceeds our own expectations but puts Oskar in a category with top performing third operators within this time frame.” says Karla Stephens, Oskar’s Chief Commercial Officer. “With the Oskar network now covering over 90% of the population and over 99% of roads and with WAP services set to launch on October 30th, Oskar is proving itself to be an increasingly attractive choice for mobile telecommunications services in the Czech Republic.
