Oskar launches an ideal tariff option for families

Oskar comes up with another new service that can help many Czech households cut their phone bills. The new service called My Family makes it possible to associate up to 4 phone numbers under a single customer account. The service allows family members to call one another for only 1.58 Kc per minute (VAT included). Each My Family calling group can be made up of up to 2 adults and a maximum of 2 children.



Oskar comes up with another new service that can help many Czech households cut their phone bills. The new service called My Family makes it possible to associate up to 4 phone numbers under a single customer account. The service allows family members to call one another for only 1.58 Kc per minute (VAT included).

Each My Family calling group can be made up of up to 2 adults and a maximum of 2 children. Adults must be on one of the New Generation Tariffs, i.e. Talk, Talk More or Talk Lots More. Junior family members need to activate the special Junior tariff, available only with My Family service.

The Junior tariff comes with a minimum monthly fee of 52.50 Kc, VAT included. There are no free minutes, however, the tariff offers a range of benefits: calls within My Family group are charged at 1.58 Kc per minute, SMSs at 1.05 Kc, calls within the Oskar network at 4.20 Kc per minute and calls to other networks at 5.25 Kc per minute (all rates are VAT inclusive). All other prices and options are subject to the Talk tariff.

My Family service keeps parents in 100% control of mobile expenditures. Every head of family can set up FlexiLimit for every SIM in his calling group. Once the usage for a SIM exceeds the FlexiLimit, an SMS notification will be sent by Oskar. In addition, parents can check the account balance for each SIM at any time. Calls within My Family calling group are not used against the bundled free minutes. Despite what its name suggests, My Family service is not limited to familes. It can also be activated by groups of friends.

There is an activation fee of 105 Kc (VAT included) for every phone number added to a calling group. The service can be activated via OskarLinka by calling *077. All calls made within My Family calling group are then subject to the reduced rate and are not used against the bundled free minutes. The service comes with a special launch bonus for the first 2 months after launch: the time limited offer of 50 free minutes monthly for Junior tariff subscribers. This bonus will enable kids to call their parents or friends free of charge. In addition, activation fees will be waived until June 30, 2003.
