The general public sees Oskar as the most progressive company in the Czech Republic as well as the most customer oriented and the most dynamic company with the greatest development. Company Image Sensor facts

The opinion survey is conducted by RCA Research on a representative sample of 1.000 Czech respondents aged 16 and over. The survey is held periodically in May and November every year. The above results were derived from the answers given by respondents in late November 2001. 

Cesky Mobil became the first dual-band (GSM 900/1800) network operator in the Czech Republic after being granted its license in October 1999. It launched commercial operation of its leading edge GSM network on March 1, 2000 under the brand name Oskar. The end of September 2001 saw Oskar with in excess of 680,000 subscribers making it one of the leading, third license operators in Central Europe! At the World Communication Awards in August 2001, Oskar was a nominee for the Best Mobile Operator award.
