OSKAR AND PRIMA PREPARE NEW TALK SHOW: TOMÁŠ HANÁK IN WATERFALL

02. August 2005

Your seeing Tomáš Hanák wet from head to toe on the screen at TV Prima is not ruled out. In fact it's a sure thing, because during the signature tune of the new talk show, Vodopád (Waterfall), he is swimming under water. Of course he's charming and elegant as always - he's diving in a suit. The mobile operator Oskar is continuing its effort to keep coming up with something new. This time it's a talk show.

This September TV Prima's program will include a few novelties. One of them will be the new Tomáš Hanák interactive Vodopád show. The theme comes from Oskar, which also takes part in the entire program's production. This evening entertainment talk show will be aired once a week during the evening.

"The program is intended for a broad target group, and we believe it will also address younger viewers to a greater extent. Tomáš Hanák's Vodopád will be a talk show that has all the prerequisites to become an attractive part of the autumn schedule," says TV Prima's program director, Miloš Zahradník.

"The reason why Oskar is producing a television show is simple. Mobile phones are more and more about entertainment and lifestyle, not just communication. Ring tones, MP3, and multimedia messages are now provided by mobile operators completely automatically. We want to go further," adds Igor Přerovský, Oskar's Vice-President for the brand and communications. "I think we know our customers well, so we have an idea about how young people want to enjoy their time. The success of our magazine Chilli Čili bears this out. The Daring Dozen series of television documentaries addressed small and mid-sized entrepreneurs."

Tomás Hanák will regularly invite two interesting guests to the studio. Thanks to his specific approach to conducting interviews viewers will be able to see the atypical viewpoints of VIPs and their stories. "I wanted to finally crawl out of the cellar with my brilliant, sparkling, captivating humor. Don't you know whether that should be with a capital C?" comments Vodopád's star, Hanák, who until now has never appeared as the emcee of his own television show, exhibiting his brilliant, sparkling, captivating humor. He will be backed up on the show by the beautiful LaDiDa, the first woman to rise behind the turntable in the Czech Republic and perform in concerts around the world.

The programs, which will last 30 minutes, are to be directed by David Sis.

The show is produced by Oskar through the production firm Frmol.
