OSKAR AD CAMPAIGNS WIN AT HOME AND ABROAD

Last week Oskar received awards from expert committees for its communication campaigns both here and abroad. In the prestigious domestic competition Golden Stone Philips 2004, organized by the Association of Czech Advertising Agencies and Marketing Communications, Oskar received one of the main prizes for its image spot, "Speak your mind," which it used in February in its new brand image campaign. At the 11th annual New Europe International Advertising Festival in Portorož, Golden Drum, an international panel awarded the Kaspen advertising agency one of the main prizes - Golden Watches - for the best advertising campaign. The prize was awarded for the advertising campaign on coverage, "We're obsessed with coverage." The second image campaign, "Speak your mind," also reached the finals.

"I'm glad it was confirmed that Oskar still sets the trend, not only for Czech advertising, as well as that our campaign was able to meet with success abroad," says Igor Přerovský, brand and communication vice president. Robert Peňaška, the director of the Kaspen agency, which shared in the development of both campaigns, adds, "We greatly value the Golden Watch award, because it recognized the campaign as a whole, not just a part of it. The victory is even sweeter, as this was a category that was open to advertising campaigns from around the world."
