Martin Bednár’s strengths are successful implementation of new solutions and strengthening their positions in the market. His abilities in doing so were proven in the early nineties, when he joined the then-new Slovak branch of IBM. He started as one of the firm’s two employees at this branch, and after six years he was leading a team that, thanks to the introduction of the IBM brand and its products into the market, grew to more than 40 people.
“I would like to use my wealth of experience from previous activities at leading global firms in order to help Vodafone remain a significant player in the challenging market of comprehensive solutions for business customers. In many firms, Vodafone OneNet can make communication considerably more effective,” says Martin Bednár.
Since September 2007, Vodafone OneNet has been providing firms with integrated communications services – fixed lines, mobile lines, fixed and mobile data connections, and Internet calling. Vodafone OneNet expands Vodafone’s portfolio, which now covers the needs of smaller firms as well as larger corporations.
Martin Bednár studied at the Computer Department of the Electro-Technical Faculty of SVST in Bratislava in the 70s. He speaks English, German, Russian, Czech, and his native tongue, Slovak. He is married, with two children.
