Frank Carvalho becomes Director of the Brand and Communications department

Frank Carvalho (42) becomes new Director of the Brand and Communications department at Vodafone Czech Republic. He takes over the function previously carried out by Monika Čížková, who became the Vice-president for the Brand and Communications department from the 1st of November 2008. Frank will be responsible for advertising, sponsoring, as well as communication. „My goal is to strengthen the position of Vodafone as one of the most preferred brands through bold and creative communication that efficiently delivers the message," says Frank Carvalho. Before joining to Vodafone Czech Republic, Carvalho acculmulated his marketing and communications expertise over 15 years in communication leading positions.

Before joining to Vodafone Czech Republic, Carvalho acculmulated his marketing and communications expertise over 15 years in communication leading positions. Most recently as a Regional Account Director for Central and Eastern Europe and the Client Services Director at Leo Burnett Budapest.

He has worked on strategies that contributed to over 50 creative and highly effective communication campaigns including 3 internationally recognized campaigns winning at the Cannes Advertising Festival (1 Gold, 1 Silver and 1 Bronze) and several Effies Awards including 1 Grand Prix. He is business leader with an eye for growing the business, building brands and creating collaborative teams with a passion for creativity.
