Filip Hrubý named spokesman for Vodafone Czech Republic

Filip Hrubý (32) has been named the new spokesman for Vodafone Czech Republic. He is replacing Jakub Hrabovský who, after two years in this function, is moving to Vodafone headquarters in Newbury, England. Mr. Hrubý has been working for Vodafone’s corporate communications department since 2005. He has been responsible for PR communication of products and services for corporate customers.

Filip Hrubý (32) has been named the new spokesman for Vodafone Czech Republic. He is replacing Jakub Hrabovský who, after two years in this function, is moving to Vodafone headquarters in Newbury, England.

Mr. Hrubý has been working for Vodafone’s corporate communications department since 2005. He has been responsible for PR communication of products and services for corporate customers. He led the successful Daring Dozen documentary serial, which was awarded as the best business PR project by the Association of PR Agencies. He participated in the establishment of the Vodafone Czech Republic Foundation and is the Vice-Chairman of its Supervisory Board. Prior to working for Vodafone, he worked in communications positions for People in Need, Key Production Agency, and Czech Television. His hobbies are drums, books and mountains.

From November of this year, Jakub will be joining the Corporate Affairs Department of the Vodafone Group plc. In this position, he will be responsible for all PR projects and media relations in the areas of consumer offers and products on the British market and for the coordination of these activities in individual Vodafone branches in Europe.
