Why have you changed the roaming price list?

Because we wanted to offer our customers a very simple price list that they would be able to remember their bearings in. You will no longer have to search between the hundreds of prices of our roaming partners, the same price will apply depending how far away you are from the Czech Republic (for example for outgoing calls throughout Europe) and this price will be final with no other hidden fees.

What's the difference between your old and new roaming price list?

Our new price list is now much more simple than the previous one, in which you had to choose between scores of prices of different operators in different countries. There's none of that anymore.

Who do the new roaming price lists apply to?

Our new price list applies to all tariff customers (regardless of the tariff you're using), business customers and users of Vodafone Cards.

When will your new prices be valid?

This new synoptic billing will be taken effect on June 24th, 2010 for all tariff customers (regardless of the tariff), for business customers and for users of Vodafone cards.

Why can I no longer choose an operator by their price?

With the new billing system you no longer have to pay attention to what operator you are using when calling from abroad. The roaming price list is now very simple and transparent, and the prices are the same for all operators. So you no longer have to remember scores of different prices for different roaming partners in different countries, you only have to know the three prices we offer in the three price zones - for example in Europe you can call all countries for the same price.

Will the prices for Data roaming and MMS also change?

MMS will not be affected by the new changes. The other prices - incoming and outgoing calls, sending SMS messages and data in zone 1 will be modified. We would only remind you that when sending MMS from abroad the favourable price of 11.40 Kc (VAT incl.) for each MMS still applies. The price is valid until further notice.

Will the prices for international calls also change with the introduction of the new roaming price list?

The prices for international calls will not change with the new roaming price list.

Is it possible to make international calls with a special number (prefix) - as the other operators do - over the Internet?

Vodafone unfortunately does not offer the service of calling abroad over the Internet. With Vodafone is possible to call abroad without dialling a special prefix for comparable price and with better call quality.

Will I get an SMS message when I leave the country?

Yes, you will get an automatic welcome SMS. Because of the billing changes, we will also send you the prices for outgoing and incoming calls and for sending this SMS.

I use Vodafone network services but a foreign operator, may I charge credit/activate additional services with Vodafone?

Unfortunately it is not yet possible to charge credit for a foreign telephone number with Vodafone, or activate additional services.

What do I do if I'm somewhere where there is a Vodafone partner network and I don't have signal or the signal is weak?

If you don't have signal the telephone will automatically choose a network that has coverage in the area in question. If the signal is weak, you can manually choose another operator available in the country in question.
