The basic type of voice mail is activated for free along with your SIM card. However, if the voice mail is not being used for 90 days, it will be deactivated. If you still want to start using the service after the deactivation, you can activate it for free in Voice Self Care at *077 (option My Vodafone > My Services) or in Internet Self Care.
If you are not using the service now and you don't know if your voice mail is active, use Voice or Internet Self Care to check it.
Sometimes you need to communicate a message to a person, but you don't want to call them. So what should you do? That's what Short Message Service (SMS) is for. An SMS is a text message you create by using the keyboard on your mobile phone. You can send them to the mobile phone number of the person that you want the message delivered to. We process the message in our SMS center and deliver it within seconds. If that person cannot be reached immediately, we will store your message and try to send it later. The phone number for the SMS center is +420 608 005 681. No need to worry though as we have preset it on your SIM card so that you can send and receive SMS immediately without any extra effort.

We consider it the integral part of Vodafone corporate responsibility as well as the possibility to set up for free Child profile, block Premium SMS section or other tools for spending control.
If your mobile phone is not set up for services such as WAP and Vodafone live! Connect, Internet Connect or MMS, use our Easy Setup program in Internet Self Care to get it done. In the My Services menu click on the Services icon, then in the right-hand column select one of the links from "Easy Setup" depending on which service you need to set up.
