Family Program

With the Family Program, calling has never been cheaper. If you and your "Family" have a Tailor Made Tariff, Loaded, Full or New Generation Tariffs, activate the Family Program and call each other for just 1.80 CZK per minute (incl. 20% VAT). The most competitive calling rate on the market will make you all a little closer.

Notes

  • An activation fee of 100.84 CZK will apply to each phone number added to your calling group.
  • The Family Program is available with Tailor Made Tariff, Loaded, Full or New Generation Tariffs. Tariffs can be combined in the Family Program group.
  • No written contract required.
  • Junior tariffs can be activated only with the Family Program service.
  • Calls made within the Family Program calling group are not used against the bundled free minutes or monthly tariff fee. Therefore, the competitive calling rate applies immediately.
  • The Family Program cannot be combined with the Friends Program.
  • The 1.80 CZK calling rate includes 20% VAT and applies to calls between the Family Program group members within the Vodafone network. The monthly fee of 60 CZK for Junior tariffs is VAT inclusive.

The Family Program service is designed for the Vodafone's Tailor Made tariff, Loaded, Full and New Generation Tariff subscribers.
The Family Program service offers a reduced calling rate for groups of up to four customers who want to be in frequent contact with each other.
The Family Program service can be set up for up to 4 phone numbers associated under a single customer account. Various Full Tariffs or New Generation Tariffs can be combined to form a group.
Calling with the Family Program costs each member of the group just 1.80 CZK per minute (VAT included) and are not used against the bundled free minutes or tariff monthly fee.
The reduced rate applies throughout the billing period. Therefore, customers do not have to wait until all free minutes or monthly fee are used up.
In addition, the Family Program service offers full control of the costs of all group members through FlexiLimit and Account Balance features. These features allow the customer account owner to set up a call limit and check the account balance for every single SIM associated in his calling group.
At the same time, individual group members can control their own account balance.
There is a one-shot activation fee of 100.84 CZK (VAT included) for every phone number added to a calling group.

Costs Under Control

Vodafone's customers can control their Family Program group expenditures thanks to FlexiLimit and Account Balance features.
FlexiLimit can be set for the customer account as a whole as well as for individual phone numbers. The Account Balance can be monitored for individual phone numbers as well as for the customer account as a whole.

What should I do to activate the Family Program service?

Conditions of activation

  1. A group consists of four numbers with Loaded, Full or New Generation Tariffs.
  2. Various tariffs can be combined in one group.
  3. None of the group members can simultaneously use another Friends & Family service - Friends Program or already be a member of another calling group.
  4. All phone numbers must be under a single customer account.
  5. The service is activated by the customer account owner, i.e. the customer who will identify himself with the password used when communicating with a customer care representative.

Do you want to get a new phone number and activate the Family Program service?

1. Through E-shop

Firstly you can buy one of our Loaded Tariffs through our E-shop. If you have any other tariff, it’s very important, that you select the addition of new tariff for your current account.
After the activation of your tariff you can activate the Family Program through Self Care. Activation can only be done by the owner of the customer account who knows the password for communication with the operator and for entry to Self Care.

If it is not possible to activate Family Program, we will tell you why via the operator or via SMS.

2. Vodafone shops

First of all, you need to buy a Loaded Tariff at a Vodafone corporate store. While activating the tariff, you will request the activation of the Family Program service at the store. You will designate the one or several phone numbers that you wish to set up The Family Program service with. Newly purchased phone numbers will be activated directly at the store.

The Family Program service will be activated as long as all of the phone numbers that you wish to add to your calling group meet the conditions of activation. If the activation cannot be completed, you will be notified via SMS.

The Family Program service will be activated the following midnight. Once the activation is completed, all group members will receive SMS confirmation.

3. Via Vodafone Sales

First of all, you need to purchase one of the Loaded Tariffs. If you've already got a tariff with Vodafone, it's important for you to ask that the new tariff be added to the existing customer account.

After activating a tariff, you can activate The Family Program through Vodafone Self Care. Activation should always be performed by the account owner, who knows the password for communicating with operators and for entering Self Care.

If the Family Program service cannot be activated for you, you will be notified of the reasons for non-activation by a customer care representative and via SMS.

Note: If you decide to activate a Loaded Tariff for your children and they are included in the Family Program group, no Call Deposit is required for them. Other Loaded Tariffs require call deposits (even if they are in a the Family Program group). If, by chance, you are planning to activate Loaded Tariffs for each member of the Family group, you will have to provide a call deposit. In that case, the minimal deposit is 1000 CZK. However, we recommend depositing at least 2000 CZK so you can call at least a bit. Regardless of the amount of the deposit, we'll return it after 6 months if you have a clean payment record.

Do you want to activate the Family Program for existing phone numbers?

First of all, please make sure that all phone numbers that you wish to add to your calling group are under a single customer account.
If this is not the case, you need to fill in the Account Unification form as a pre-requisite for activating The Family Program service. The form then needs to be sent back to:

Once the form is received by Vodafone, Vodafone Care representatives will contact you. If you request the merging of two customer accounts for the purpose of activating The Family Program service, the regular Transfer of Responsibility fee of 1.200 CZK (incl. 20% VAT) will be waived.

Once all phone numbers are under a single customer account, it is possible to activate the Family Program service through Vodafone's Voice, Internet or SMS SelfCare.

If activation is completed successfully, you and all remaining group members will be notified via SMS. Should the activation fail, you will receive an SMS informing you why the activation failed.

The service will be active starting the next midnight after you receive your SMS confirmation.
