For the sake of our environment, we should recycle electro-waste and deposit it in special bins intended for this purpose. Such containers can be found in scrap yards or in places designated by your local authority. Alternatively you can drop by any Vodafone store and leave your dead mobile there.
Customers can dispose of handsets, accessories or batteries in our stores regardless of whether they had bought the goods there or not. Vodafone will ensure their reuse or environmental recycling via a specialized company. For every returned phone Vodafone Foundation Czech Republic receives about 3 Euros on average. The money will be used in environmental projects.
Vodafone is by the law a member of a retrogressive consumption system (REMA) that manages collection and ecological disposal of electro-waste. That's why a recycling fee is included in the price of each phone.
