We develop relationships with others, including non-profit organizations; we hold regular discussions with them and establish cooperation.

You can use your mobile phone to contribute via DMS (i.e. donor SMS) to various charitable organizations. Go to www.darcovskasms.cz for a complete list of the currently possible subscriptions, organizations and passwords. If you send an SMS message in the format DMS PASSWORD (every subscription is allocated its password) to 87777, you will pay CZK 30 per SMS message. No VAT is charged on the sum; CZK 27 is given to charity and CZK 3 is used to cover the operating costs of the mobile operator and civic association Donors Forum (FD), which operates this service.

Vodafone CZ, along with Ericsson and the Czech Technical University (ČVUT) established in February 2001, the Prague Research & Development Centre - RDC. RDC supports ambitious students and enthusiasts of wireless technology. The aim of RDC is to create, maintain and develop a community of people with common technical interests, to offer them further education and involvement in national and international projects and activities. A fully functional GSM network is available for projects and grants within RDC. Through RDC students of all Czech universities can also receive scholarships from Vodafone CZ. We also cooperate in the development of products for blind people so that they can use the advantages of mobile communication. Successful completion of the first GPS navigation system for the blind in the Czech Republic is the result of cooperation with RDC. The system provides immediate location and navigation advice to blind people and can direct them to a target point. The system will be put in regular operation, with a considerable amount of support from the Vodafone Czech Republic Foundation in cooperation with the Czech Blind United (SONS).

We have established contacts and cooperation with renowned institutions, such as Business Leaders Forum, Donors Forum, ČVUT, SONS and many others. We hold discussions with their representatives, trying to keep them and ourselves informed, learn opinions and receive feedback, which is used by us to further improve our activities.
